Richard E. Stover, Amissville native
Richard Edward Stover, 68, of Amissville, Va., died Oct. 28, 2008 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born Jan. 10, 1940 at Amissville to late Cletus Thomas Stover and Myrtle Elizabeth Holmes Stover.
Mr. Stover was retired from Atlantic Research and was a deacon at Amissville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Martin Stover; one sister, Joan S. Wines of Warrenton; and one brother, Harold Stover of Amissville.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at Amissville Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stover, thank you for being the best boss and best role model anyone could ask for. Your advise over the years was always appreciated and was always insightful.
