Charles Franklin Weatherholtz, businessman

Charles Franklin Weatherholtz, 67, died Oct. 18 at his home in Warrenton. He had suffered a stroke in January.

In the late '60s, he spent two years in Vietnam. He spent nearly 10 years with Lee Fence Company in Fairfax before taking the business over in the late '70s. He owned and operated the business, along with his wife, until he retired in 2001.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Weatherholtz; two sons, Jason and James; and eight grandchildren.

Also surviving are his mother, Theresa Garrison, and 11 siblings.

Wake services will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at Grace Bible Church, 4387 Free State Road, Marshall, with a reception following. Please bring a covered dish.

Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at a family plot in West Virginia. Directions will be available at the services on Friday.
