Wilbur Price Wright, businessman
Wilbur Price Wright, 52, of Nokesville, died July 1 at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C. He was born Aug. 22, 1955, in Warrenton.
Mr. Wright was co-owner of Lacey Lane Carriage Company and NeedAPoint Kennels.
He is survived by his wife, Nanne Wright; one son, Wilbur M.P. Wright of Linden; one daughter, Krystal Plaster-Lawhorne of Gainesville; and three grandchildren.
Also surviving are his parents, Harold M. Wright Sr. and Betty Wright of Reedville, Va.; three brothers, Harold M. Wright Jr. of Etowah, N.C., Timothy Wright of Heathsville, Va., and Paul Wright of Manassas; five sisters, Sue Holzshu of Fredericksburg, Cathy Keys of Woodford, Va., Patricia Wolfe of Colonial Beach, Va., Donna Via of Spotsylvania, and Virginia and Debra Peltier of Belleview, Fla.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, July 7, at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at Soul's Harbor Church of God, 8900 Portner Ave., Manassas, with pastor D. Tony Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery, Nokesville.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, ATTN: Office of Advancement, 3300 Whitehaven St., NW, Suite 4000, Washington DC 20007 in memory of Wilbur Wright.
