Teaching gun safety is serious business
For Mark Friedrich, teaching people about responsible gun ownership is both a business and a pleasure.
Friedrich, a Gainesville resident, said he's always enjoyed shooting sports. Over the years, he's taken it upon himself to learn as much as he can about different types of firearms and how to handle them safely.
Last year, he was certified as a firearms pistol instructor by the National Rifle Association. Three months ago, he set up his Web site, which can be accessed at www.handgundefense.com.
According to information on the site, Friedrich's business, Handgun Defense specializes in providing “safe, fun and effective training in the use of pistols and revolvers.”
