Barr, Whitmer wed at Airlie
Sherry Melissa Barr and Dennis Lee Whitmer of Warrenton were married June 7. Their ceremony was held on the grounds of lovely Airlie Conference Center, followed by a reception in the historic Smoke House. Pastor Douglas L. Harris officiated.
The bride's parents are Lonnie and Beverly Barr of Warrenton. Betty Madden of Sterling is the groom's mother.
A 1999 graduate of Fauquier High School, the bride is employed as a medical assistant in a Manassas pediatrician's office. She is also pursuing her nursing degree at Lord Fairfax Community College.
The groom is an employee of Shoppers Food Warehouse in Herndon.
Ashley and Megan Whitmer were the bridesmaids.
Following a trip to May Hawk, N.C., the couple reside in Warrenton.
