Goldvein: Have breakfast at Fauquier Fair

The Huffine family sent me an e-mail about their recent vacation. They went camping at Frontier Town, just south of Ocean City, Md. The water park, miniature golf, pool and events at the campground kept them busy.

Frontier Town has a Western Theme Park, with entertainment throughout the day presented by actors in period attire. The loud (fake) gun play brought out the wild west in all of them.

To top it off, a shuttle bus to the oceanfront was free. They were amazed at the gentleness of even the bigger waves. The Assateague Crabhouse provided the best meal of the trip. They really enjoyed the boardwalk experience, complete with ferris wheel, ice cream and "Ripley's Believe It or Not," and recommend the Frontier Town experience.

A big thank you to the Huffine family for the vacation news. Stay tuned to hear about my family's road trip next week.
