President George Bush has just scored a major foreign policy victory over the Democratic-controlled Congress and many who wanted the war in Iraq and Afghanistan to fail simply for political power-grabbing reasons.
Last Monday, he signed the $162 billion war funding bill without the Democratic-mandated troop withdrawal timetable. This week, he signs the overdue extension to FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) allowing us to continue monitoring communication from suspected terrorist into and out of this country.
His administration's foreign policy has scored a victory over much opposition within our own country, much of it was dishonorable politics and shameful acts of self-interest over security for our country.

Yaay! We get to spend more money that we do not have on a war that we should never have entered.
I'm ashamed of the Democrats for giving it to him.
